What are Meta-Tags? Meta-Tags are HTML tags which provide information that describes the content of the Web Pages a user will be viewing. Such as your Title and a Description of the page. Many Search Engines have incorporated reading Meta-Tags as part of their indexing formulas.However it must be said that not all Search Engines use Meta-tags some Search Engines look at the content of the web page and use that as part of their indexing methods. We still recommend that you have Meta-Tags so that those Search Engines that do use them will be able to find your site.
